Revelation and Your Health
God is very interested in our healing and health (Exodus 15). The moment we made Jesus the Lord of our life, we were returned to the excellent state that existed in Eden, where there was no disease or sickness. The day we identified with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, God restored to us all that was lost in the Garden of Eden. Sound health is our heritage (Colossians 1:13). God’s words are life to us. To function effectively in God’s system, we must value words. Healing virtue is released to us each time we get revelation from God’s word (Proverbs 4:21). There is a direct correlation between the amount of light we get from God’s word and the state of our health (John 6:33). The world was crafted by God’s word (Hebrews 11:3). The quality of life that flows into you determines the strength that you have on the inside of you and the quality of life that you have determines if sickness will dominate your body or not. The Greek word for life is “Zoë”, meaning, the God-kind of life. This implies that once we have this life, nothing negative is permitted to be in our system. When God created man, He breathed into him the breath of life. It is important to note that the medications we take address only the symptoms; not the real illness. What determines the permanent end of any sickness or disease is the life of God which comes through the spoken word of God and revelation.
Value the word of God and revelation! In the natural plane, words are very powerful (Proverbs 18:21). The words that proceed from your mouth are very crucial. Do not be careless about the words that you speak concerning your health (Proverbs 12:18). Words impact the body and the soul (Proverbs 6:2). Say what God has said concerning you (Psalm 107:2; Joel 3:10). Do not accept any sickness as yours. Words move spiritual realities into the physical realm (Psalm 107:20). God’s words carry God’s personality. Revelation, the revealed word of God to you, is the most potent force that guarantees your deliverance here on earth. It is the truth of God’s word that guarantees our victory over sickness and disease. So, how much of God’s word and revelation do you have concerning your health? Avoid cultural health pollution in your life. Be sensitive to the things you feed your body and spirit. Moderation and self-control are very important. Doctors are good but they are not the ones who determine your life. When they speak from their wealth of experience, remember that they do not know everything. God is the Great Physician who knows more than any other doctor. Be very careful about how you receive popular information. Don’t echo negative statements because life and death are in the power of the tongue. Build yourself up and gather faith that speaks against sickness. Trust what God has said concerning your health; more than any other medical information you receive. Swallow “capsules” of God’s words daily. Meditate on the word daily till they become multivitamins in your system. By meditating on God’s word, it becomes personal revelation to you and you get to know God for yourself (Romans 8:11). From today, as you speak God’s word over your body, life is restored to your system.
