Three months ago, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia – a type of blood cancer. As at the time of the diagnosis, my white blood cell count was in the excess of 200,000 (the normal range is between 4,000 and 11,000) and my spleen was swollen by over 250%. The doctor told me that I would have to treat this ailment for the rest of my life. My family and I prayed to God and we believed His word. A blood test carried out some days ago showed that my white blood cell count has returned to the normal range and my spleen has shrunk back to its normal size! And guess what? I have been off medications for about a month. Praise God!
